The NB8W PerformaPlus ADSL2+ Modem Router is an extremely powerful internet access device delivering top-line performance expected of a unit bearing the PeformaPlus name. 

PerformaPlus is designed to deliver robust performance to handle multiple processor-intensive Internet applications simultaneously including: VoIP, Video on Demand, High Definition Multimedia Streaming, Web-serving/hosting and On-line gaming through the one single gateway.

The NB8W makes connection easy for both wired and wireless users. To further boost Internet performance, the NB8W supports up to 8 continuous virtual connections (PVC's) allowing for multiple simultaneous Internet connections. When used together with a broadband connection the NB8W is a multi function product with a built-in ADSL-modem, wireless 11g Access Point, 4-port 10/100Mbps switch and VoIP and Triple Play feature support.

Security is a key element in the NB8W with active firewall technology (SPI/DoS, packet filtering, parental and access control) and a host of Wireless security features including WEP, WPA and 802.1 x authentication. The NB8W features Layer 3 QoS (Quality of Service) that makes it ideal for use with VoIP.
